We Take Care Of You
What To Expect
Your first visit will consist of a consultation, examination, and precise x-ray analysis. The x-rays allow Dr. Roberts to analyze how your vertebrae are misaligned and develop a precise correction customized to your problem. Some patients receive a Digital Motion X-Ray in more severe cases. For more information about the Digital Motion X-Ray, click here. The goal of your treatment is for your correction to hold as long as possible to allow you to see results and heal as quickly as possible. On subsequent visit, you may or may not need an adjustment. Dr. Roberts is able to determine where an adjustment is needed, by performing a daily office exam.

Upper Cervical Care
Upper Cervical Care is a technique created by Dr. William Blair. Blair was known for discovering that individual joint surfaces actually misalign. He also found that the commonly used x-ray analysis was often inaccurate due to the misconception that the spine is symmetrical. Dr. Blair developed a special series of x-rays to view individual spinal joints to access their alignment. By doing so, he found a method of adjustments to fix their misalignment, known as spinal subluxations.
Dr. Roberts performs Blair Upper Cervical Care by using a unique system of finding and correcting nerve interference (subluxation) in the upper neck area. Precise x-rays are taken to custom tailor the neck adjustment to your individual spinal anatomy and condition. This “blueprint” of your spine allows the Blair chiropractor to deliver the adjustment that is exactly what your body needs. All nerve messages between the brain and body must pass through the upper cervical area. The nervous system controls and regulates all parts and functions of the body. When there is nerve interference (subluxation), your body loses the ability to properly self regulate and heal itself. The result can be pain and illness. Blair Upper Cervical Care is often the key to people regaining and maintaining good health. Patients with whiplash, neck pain, back pain, headaches, poor posture, or even a bump on the head would greatly benefit from Upper Cervical Care.

Digital Motion X-Ray
Digital Motion X-Rays provide accurate, crystal-clear, moving images to aid in diagnosing and treatment planning for:
The areas most frequently studied are the cervical spine, facet joints, and the temporomandibular joints. Extremities, shoulders, back and primary elbow, wrist, knee and ankle joints are also easily visualized using DMX. It is of primary importance in the care of the patient to establish the presence of ligamentous damage, as these ligaments do not heal. The movement of the articular surfaces results in pain via fibers of the nervous system. Long term degenerative damage results from connective tissue injuries.
Only DMX provides objective visual documentation of ligamentous injury.
Studies help prove medical necessity for treatment, provide evidence for legal cases, establish extent of impairment, and get approved for payment. Digital Motion X-Ray studies are recorded on video as the patient moves the injured or affected area. In a 99 second cervical study, 2,700 real-time frames of evidence are recorded. Playback on a computer shows the patient both in x-ray image and in a “positive” image at the corner of the screen. Without seeing the patient move, doctors often cannot find the cause of their patient’s pain and fail to diagnose connective tissue injuries.
